I guess TIG welding is best? not sure as TIG welding is a good idea. as far as I know, they used " Rainolds Tubing " at this time, and did it silver soldering. silver soldering = 650° C around, - TIG welding = 2 000 ° C around. so, IMO, TIG welding only if you are experienced in " low temp welding....

I just made new Dowels because they are missing.

Total lenght is 9 mm.

but I will carefully check for good contact of rocker box to head.

The big end is touching the cases, so it needs a other cut out of around 3 mm deepness....

the part is nearly finished, just one of the three threads is missing to fit the Triumph device in place.

Are you allowed front disc brakes in vintage sidecarcross? yes Ian, disc brakes are allowed because some of them where used already around the year 1965 BTW, the disces fitted in the Goldie are self-made , cast in Aluminium and Chrome-Platted, in the year 1971. very lightweight and good enough for ...
