on my other project, the BSA Gold Star I have the new bearing ( the 2 RS Type ) on my workbench because this clutch must run totally dry ( belt drive )

Lucky to have the engine dismantled totally now so everithing is doable.....

thanks twinshocker on my B50 I have already removed the meshes and have replaced them with " Airbaskets " it is a lot better now, but still: some times it is storing a lot of oil in the primary case. next time I do open the engine, I will plug the two holes and will se for a other oil. wha...

hi Jeff

My Sparx voltage regulator just failed some weeks ago. ( around 8 years old part )

now with a podtronic, bike and beat is happy.

- can you check with a Ohm meter is there any low Ohms between the black and the read wire ?
- is there any ohms between black and yellow wires ?

this engine looks a bit " loud " to me.

loging the datas needs to go in synchron to the " trottle " position to say something exactly :?:

as higher the air speed in the carb ( higher revs ) as better the atomising on the Wal Phillip.
IMO, for ordinary street user far away from ideal.....

what I mean is, - all this little holes in the barrel, ore the ones at the lower end of the tunnel are made to let oil downwards and NOT to let Air UPWARDS.

ore do I miss something ??

hi gents the last two short rides endet up with a flat batteri. I realised as the charging the batteri was not on in lower revs as usual, the little amp meter was showing it. it seamed to me like a third of the charging energy will be missed. my guess was a brocken wire from generator to the regulat...
