hi JB yes, shorter stroke = less advancing. but basically : there is a horrible mistake done by BSA , - covering maybe all models. and this mistake is keeping still alive in all brains of BSA owners : Kickstarting the engine by a ignition timing, set to some degrees still before TDC. this is totally...

I think you have got the ignition timing set wrong, Hmmmmm <201 I do see this different. engine fully retardet, timing must be set to 1, ore 2 ore 3 degrees AFTER TDC. means, a stock B50 with the 17° ATU, you must prolonging the slots by 0.5 mm and then set it up to what Frank has. beat :idea: :thumb

it comes off easy, not hard.
for cleaning the surfaces I do use Aceton, - ore a ordenary thinner is enough as well.
the sump plate - no problem. just make sure the surfaces are flat.

I hope you are recovering well, yes, surpricingly myself, the recovery is done by nearly 95 % I say. I am doing my jogging and gym lessons nearly as before the crash and the pain is mostly gone at the days when I do working something nicely. on sundays, when I do more relax, pain is coming back and...

IMO: 1. replace the set of points, - lube the ATU and enjoy to have no el. sorrows ! 2. Podronic 4. Glass Perle blasting 6. Loctite silicone ( number will fallow ) 7. Two composite gasket from Ed Valiket in the US. 8. cut the pipe one inch after the head. then, cut the pice of pipe remaining LONGWIS...

The clear hose is a great idea. I do not agree with this. the clear hoses I was using, they getting stiff and hard, so tendencies to leak and break after two ore tree years. hope you find a better quality as I can get it here. find the push rods seem slightly too long Hmmmm <201 mines seamed to be ...

No, O ring, minety. ( I hate gaskets ) - - better pic will fallow....

worked on the outer gearbox cover.
it needs a other inspection hole to be able to hook on the clutch cable in to this Triumph clutch rod lever.

I am tied of the VW type as I bought two of them and both are leaking oil after a short use.
