stuck piston

Hi everyone,im working on a 69' tr25w,piston is stuck,removed head and cylinder slid right out,so piston not stuck to cylinder,was able to move con rod back and forth w/out force,both piston and cylinder are in good condition,can transmission,also need size of screws on point cover .thnx

Thanks for the info Jeff K,tell me when you installed the podtronics regulator/rectifier did you have to reverse all the lighting connections to neg. ground ?

Hi everyone,im a proud owner of 1969 TR25W ,bought with seized engine,removed head i can also move cylinder up n down a bit,so rod is probably seized,my question is regarding HPbystan comment,is the 71 con rod really good ??,ive heard that rod part #71-3667 was the best, but just how good are they ?...

Hi everyone,i was reading the Rupert Ratio book on inline oil filtering,he said we could use a gasoline (petrol) filter as used in cars if changed often,seems like a good idea,pretty simple and cheap what do u guys think?,also b25 being so picky as far as oil preassure ,is this a good idea ?? .any i...

Hi new member here,ive read somewhere where someone built a breather themselves and what he used was a one-way valve from Ford he even gave part # E8TE-9A487-AA ,he adviced to place it as far as possible from engine.Im going to try it as soon as my TR25W is ready.thnx

ccm oiling coversion

In the tech pages there is a conversion to what they call a CCM oiling conversion,,put an outlet with hose where the oil gauge should be and connect to the rocker feed pipe,has anyone done this ?, does it actually provide better oiling .

Thnx for the input,really like the bike,in tech pages i see a mod,where you put an oil line to where an oil gauge should be fitted,does this really increase oil supply to top end ??is this mod worth it ??

Im a new member,im glad this forum is available,im starting to work on a 69' Triumph TRW with the B25 engine and i know that the con rod is its weak point,ive read that the b25ss rod that came out in 71-72 is a much stronger rod,how good a solution is this ?,ive seen some billet rods by Carrillo tha...
