Hmmm... better update my last post quick, it was not just a case of pilot-jet removal. To clarify - the carb with which the b44 has best tickover is an earlier 930 Amal from a 750 Tiger, pilot jet removed (but threaded and accepts one) with a No.3 slide and needle/main jets in holder from a later 93...

Hi all, I also had a lousy tickover on B44 with a new 930 Amal (ticking over nicely, rock the bike/stop at junction and phut!
