Lozenge silencer for sale

Hi All I'm selling a lozenge silencer. I'm a dirt bike rider, so something like this is unlikely to be of use to me and unfortunately I'm unlikely to ever own a roadgoing B50. It's from a B25 actually, but a reducing sleeve on the end of a B50 header would make it fit without further modification. C...

Re: b44 gearbox leak/level

Agree with Minety. If the bike's never been run and is vertical, there's no way the gearbox oil should be as high as the output bearing. It's overfilled.
The drain plug has a small upstand tube in it. Remove the small bolt in the drain plug and let it drain out the excess.

Hi Trevor
I've got relays for dip and main beam on my Victor squeezed inside the headlamp shell. They're a bit chunky though, probably about 2cm cubed plus terminals. Are yours any smaller physically? I know you're the other side of the world, but where do you source yours from?

The felt washer in the gasket set is mean to be 'parted' rather than put in at full thickness. It should only just bear against the backplate rather than be compressed. I don't think the mechanism you're proposing is feasible/what the issue is anyway.

Gearbox oil shouldn't be black!

Change the gearbox oil for fresh. Change the primary oil for red ATF. Go for a ride. Is the oil pissing out golden thick gearbox oil, or thin red ATF?

If it's primary, it's probably the little oil seal in the inner cover plate thing.
