X75 Hurricane Parts List on MICROFICHE

I have a quantity (60+ available) Triumph parts lists on microfiche and a ‘sample’ is currently listed on EBay. I thought the Hurricane one might be a nice bit of not necessarily usable memorabilia that someone on here might like. Anyone? Sensible offer with the proceeds to my local hospice of inter...

There should also be one between the outside of the RH front engine ‘plate’ and the exhaust pipe mounting bracke...

Re: Dating a B50SS

Incorrect for last models at least, see any/all DB's for them. Each model range (eg OIF Singles,Twins, Triples) had their own series of numbers but variants within that range ie, B25T, T25SS, B50T, T25SS etc could be next to one another in the numerical sequence. For example; DE10577 was a T25T DE10...

Re: Dating a B50SS

Trevor, I don't necessarily agree with your theory that it was the 1627th bike off the line. I'd agree that it was the 1627th (numerical order) number in the Despatch Book but that doesnt't tally (no pun intended as we also know that the DB indicates 'tally number' too) with production order. The DB...

"Note, it was not the 1627th B50SS built. Other models came first of which could have been A65's, A75's, B50T's or B50MX's." That's not true; singles were in one 'number' run and other models had their own. It is correct that the singles run included BSA, Triumph, 250's and 500's. Usually, but not a...

But you don't then actually know whether the hub/brake plate assembly will fit in your arm (re' spindle dia, spacers/position etc). My view remains to actually do all the work to fit the hub/brake plate (of your choice) to the arm with the sprocket In the right place for chain alignment then, and on...

I don't necessarily concur with your thought; my view is that you need to set up the hub in the arm, then you can work out for yourself what your offset needs to be.

Although the OP doesn't seem to tell us which swinging arm he is planning to fit the Conical hub too I'll assume it's a pre-OIF one. From refurbishing Mead & Tomkinson B50's where they went the other way, ie fitted Crinkle hub in place of Conical, I'd suggest that the first thing to do is, most prob...

My two penneth; the BSA/Triumph OIF Single air filter housing is not what the OP needs if he is considering an 'air box' for Flat Track racing.
