Sammy Miller Museum

Post by minetymenace » Thu Jun 25, 2009 4:50 pm

This is a great little museum, Sammy has collected hundreds of bikes and the selection criteria seems to be interesting mechanical stuff, and there are only two bikes that don't run. I went down there on an Italian day, where they push the Italian bikes (and any others the feel like) out of the museum, and thrash them round the car park. Here are a few pictures, I'll put some more up when I have time, but I'm off to bonnie Scotland on the Guzzi for a week to eat strange northern food and drink some 80 shilling (and see Angus and Malcome Young do his thing)...Bill, fancy a pint?

If the haggis don’t get you the midges will.

Who is Angus and Malcome Young, and what is his thing? and where will this thing take place?

Actually I’m off to work down Newcastle way next week but I’m trying to make Farleigh Castle this year so I’ll have a pint or 10 there.
