Worlds Fastest BSA

Post by Chris Pellett » Tue Apr 05, 2016 6:04 pm

Worlds Fastest Indian is a brilliant film.
Surprised no-ones mentioned the Wall of Death speed record set by Guy Martin on a (modern) Indian last week.
It lasted minutes before he broke it on his Rob North BSA Rocket III
I bet Indian were gutted, but just proves BSA's are better

It was pulling too much g that stopped him going faster. Why not get a RAF pilot who is used to high g or use a feet forward design to reduce the loss of blood to the bonce (see Gloster Meteor F8 Prone Position at Cosford Museum)
There is no evidence to support the notion that life is serious.

probably because the program is called guy martin speed, is why they didn't try to get an raf pilot who is use to 'G' force. most of us know who guy martin is, for his great bike racing skills and entertainment value. having an 'unknown' in the saddle just wouldn't cut it.
