Hello

I was wondering if anyone with superior non mere mortal knowledge has made up a p92 frame , say from a Norton? or from some other donor frame?

There is no other frame close enough to be a donor, so its original or fresh build.

A shortened Commando frame will take a B50 engine but its still not a P92 frame but will give you the isolastics.

Thanks, I haven't been around nortons, so I wasn't sure of level of difficulty of making a Norton frame rework into a p92,

Triumph bandit frame with a 500 twin engine fitted.

The space taken up by the pre Unit 850 is too much to be filled by a B50 hence you need to shorten.

The top tube will need to be cut at the flat plate at the rear and then the 2 lower tubes cut and rebent as the whole front will move downwards and you will need to realign these 2 lower tubes.
