BSA in Triumph Disguise

Post by scootin newton » Sun Oct 18, 2020 1:37 am

My original Champion Fiberglass tank was leaking and falling apart so I started using this one.
I need to strip and repaint but haven't had the heart to do so

Sooo... This is what a right & proper factory B50 electric starter is. Funny, but I've never seen one in the official factory accessory catalogs. One question, where do you strap it on when chugging down the road to the store for bread, beer, and toilet paper? Does it store in your backpack or is it bungee corded to the seat?

Inquiring minds want to know. And, has Beat, in his convalescent condition, seen this? It just might make him abandon his elegant starter project and go into production with yours.

Traditional Kick Start is on the right side,
Kevin Atherton Former Grand National #23 carries his remote starter in a backpack to start his Street Legal XR750
I haven't the need to carry mine as it is used only at the track and to terrorize the neighbors by running up and
down the road at a high rate of speed
