TODAY , I HAVE dismantled and THERE IS NO DAMAGE TOO , JUST A CHANGE ROD .

I took the opportunity to REDUCE THE ROCKERS AND POLISH .

By removing the engine , I 've realized that there was a big crack in the left engine mounting plate ...

Remi,
I had a pushrod jump out of its rocker once but the motor kept running! The pushrod jammed up against the rocker arm and somehow kept opening the valve. However, I noticed something was wrong and discovered the culprit before any damage was done (Smith Brothers chrome moly pushrod.) I think it was caused because the adjusting nut backed off almost completely - - my bad! I've also cracked that motor mount plate before, so I'd say it's a common problem. It might be caused by motor mount bolts coming loose. Make sure they are all tightened properly.

Standard B50 pushrods flex badly at higher rpm. When I was trying to tune out a high rpm surge it turned out to be the pushrods. To look in there it doesn't look like they could possibly touch each other but I coated them with machinist blue and the next week when I took them back out the half way point on both of them was all scratched up.

Hi Stan, <1011

The PES push-rod have a higher profile in the middle of the rod for more rigidity , I hope this will be enough ...
