New to me '71 T25 Blazer SS

Postby leylandauto » Sun Aug 07, 2016 2:28 am

Found at a yard sale and stored for many years. Hurt some due to outside storage for one of those. Paint I believe all original but seems like some brush strokes in paint (no 3D but seeing the shadow of them). Motor was stubbornly stuck so I commenced to start tearing it down. I have done a 650 Bonneville just before this having done mostly MG and Triumph Cars in the past but I'm loving rebuilding basket case bikes now. I'm conflicted right now on the original vs restored frankly. The motor and frame are #00158 so now I really want to pull back and figure that out but frankly, I'm leaning towards full restoration (I love the orange color). I am going to have some motor questions as I get going here.

nice project you have there, it looks very original and correct. an early example having been dispatched from bsa to tricor usa 31/12/70 good luck with it and keep those questions coming.
