Basket Case

Postby brian steytler » Wed Dec 21, 2016 2:52 pm

I bought a 1970 B25 (pre oif) way back in 2011 as something of a basket case, painted the frame, replaced the fork stauntions and had the engine taken apart and the bearings and seals replaced in the first year (loads of enthusiasm at that time) and its lain in my garage eversince ( I also bought a red hunter as ariel in my 'thing' and which took over) so the B25 has to go.

So the question, should i just put in on ebay (or any other site??) as 'bits' or spend some time bolting it back together and then sell it??

From personal experience of having got carried away bidding for a basket case Id say make it look like one piece. Tell them its assembled for show so they won't get ratty but givemthem a picture to show what it will look like.

thanks for that.

i will have to get some pics done if i use ebay , well even if i use say obm or this site, so maybe a bit later when its a bit warmer, and yes; i now think it would be a good idea to 'loose' bolt it back together so anyone can see it 'complete'.
