This product was recently advertised in a UK classic bike magazine, any thoughts?

Interesting, the block will have 3 or 4 cells, so the charging voltage will be (4.2 x 3 =) 12.6v, or 4 cells (4.2 x 4 =) 16.8). You may have to alter your charging voltage, it would be good to know if there are any internal electronics in the block to limit the charging current maybe. In principle nothing wrong (except for the charging question), and ideal if you don't have a starter motor (they arn't the best battery for cyclic applications)....but they seem a little pricey. If you are concerned about wieght, use a capacitor!!
