When I got my 71 B50 it had the original Goldseals...Nice but not safe. As I do about 1/2 my riding on dirt fire trails and I have to ride the street to get to them. So I wanted something dual purpose. after some investigation I ended up with a set of Kenda K270. DOT approved and after yesterdays ride I can confirm their worthiness. Super grippy on street and dirt. Not sure how long they will last, but the price was right at 56 bucks each...Have a look

4.50? That's a lot of tire on the front. Is rear also 4.50?
Tread pattern has more of an off-road than dual-purpose look. They aren't squirrelly on pavement? On wet pavement?

4.50 front/rear. Personally like the bigger tires up front. Doesn't have the deflection of the smaller tire. Handles very well on the street. Tad noisey at speed. Haven't tried in the rain yet. Dan
