New Amal Premier Carb/Tickler Issue

Put my new Amal premier carb on and the tickler fouls the carb mounting stud. Anyone else had this issue? I know I can just cut the stud down but was curious if it is a common problem.

A 6 mm thick insulator does the trick for me.

I agree with Momus that a 6mm tufnol or equivalent spacer would help. However it looks to me that the stud is too long. All my B50's are only showing a maximum of a couple of threads visible after the nut. Overall length of stud should be 1.1/4"

Install the insulator, the Carburetor will be happier.
