Hi guys,

Want to brush paint my frame so I can start rebuilding. Then the following winter (not sure which one yet!), I will strip the bike & get the frame powder coated.
But for the moment looking for a recommendation for a good hand brushing black paint. Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Pete

Suggest the system made by POR-15.
Sold in UK by Frosts I think
I use nothing else.
First passivate the bare metal then a couple of coats of POR-15 chassis paint then a couple of coats of POR top coat.
Very hard, doesn't chip and gives a good hand brushed finish.

Tekaloid coach paint.
Do it in the warm and buy a quality brush. :thumb

When I were a lad it was "Brushing Belco" that was the favoured paint, I don't suppose they make it anymore.
