Stainless steel parts

As we've done before, we've had some parts made for ourselves and offer them here hopefully to help others.

They are all CAD drawn from BSA drawings or OEM samples, laser cut from 303 stainless and then 'vibratory finished'. They do look very good.

They are (bottom up on the images - two images, they are difficult to photograph as they are so shiny!);

Early MX (ET) electrics mounting plate - £3.25
Late MX 'coil carrier bracket'' - as 83-5183 - £3.25
Late MX 'carrier plate electrical equipment' - as 83-5106 - £4.50
6" conical front hub torque arm (4mm thick) - otherwise as 83-2660 - £6.25
6" conical front hub torque arm (5mm thick) - otherwise as 83-2660 - £6.25

The torque arms were made from the two metric thicknesses to see how they performed (installed etc) against the OEM imperial thickness material. Both worked fine.

We will do the early MX ET plate with holes to suit the pattern ET coils that are currently available - we have those coils too if required, we bought more than enough for ourselves.

Post at cost to anywhere in the world.

Regards to all OIF'ers.

Paul.

Yes, very good, as is the price. Hats of to you Paul, only a genuine enthusiast would bother with this quality and accuracy, AND offer them at such reasonable cost. Will PM you with order tomorrow...

Hi Paul,

just to let you know that the stainless steel parts that I ordered, arrived this morning. The quality of the work and the finish is excellent. It has been an absolute pleasure to deal with such a gentleman as your good self. Many, many thanks.

With apologies in that I still can't find the two crates of our laser cut and CNC turned parts to do decent kmages to post here, these two older images will have to do for now. After Stafford I'll have a better search (anyone who knows our storage would know the difficulty).

The laser cut alloy electrics box top is ours too, we have the mounts but I'm sure you know they are expensive.

Regards.

Paul.

Paul,

Do you have a list of the stainless parts?

Charlie
