Need some help pricing my stuff

Post by big igg » Sat Mar 21, 2015 10:47 pm

Hello everyone. If this is in the wrong place please move it.

I have some motor cycle part and i need to sell them and i was hoping someone here could maybe help me come up with a decent asking price of what everything is worth. I would like to list them on Craigslist or if someone here or if you know someone that would want to buy everything. I'm selling everything and will not separate. I know i could probably get more selling them separately and maybe make some more money but do not want to. Any input would be appreciated

Thanks

<135 to the forum big igg.

Please edit your profile and let us know where in the world you are, this will have a bearing on the price. If you don't know what the the market value is, why not auction them, with a reserve set to what you thing the job lot is worth? Craigs list? Whats that?

Craigs list is a free place to sell stuff in the US of A. Everything is at a "buy it now" price. Problem with it is, being free your ad drops down the list very quickly and you have to think of a good title for your ad so someone can find it using the search system.

Stan I don't fancy sending money to somewhere in US to someone I don't know.
At least through ebay you have some comeback if it all goes tits up.

The rockerbox studs look to be all the same size I think, at least on the one with the cylinder too.

LOL yes Craigslist is a free online place to list stuff for sale, that is why i would like a "about" price for everything. I don't know maybe i will try to get the 500 motor together as a complet motor and try to sell it on ebay. Just those darn fees get expensive.

I have some much pictures but my internet crapped out on me and i will try get they posted tonight. And i did change my profile i live in Lima,NY I guess a lot of you guys are or on the other side of the pond LOL

Hi Igg,

Most of the B25 motors and parts won't get you very much and they are pretty picked apart. The B50 cylinder and head will be of interest to many as you already have heard. I'd be happy to talk to you about buying all you have but we can do it off line. I'm in New Hampshire but might not mind the drive . You can email me with your contact info: peter@bsaunitsingles.com
