i remember these strange looking conversions when they came out circa 1969, its doubtful that they were any better than a standard b44 victor.

Not mine, I just posted it as a interesting bit of rare technology. It appears to be a 4 valve head set up for a B44.

Jeff, I know its not yours! I just meant that it should be under the parts for sale heading rather than tech...

There is quite a lot of info on these if you search the forum, the consensus (as midgie says) is that they improve wonder rather than power. (anyone know the SI unit of Wonder?)

I don't think there ever was a Weslake/Rickman 4-valve version for the B44.

By the way, - can a CCM four valve head be made to fit on a B44? Of course with the cylinder bore enlarged etc.

Not being familiar with these, I was just surprised that some one went to all that trouble to build such a kit for the B44.
