Cheers Andy, I think.

Didn't think the cafe racer would need it so thought I'd try and sell the excess bits to help pay for the go faster goodies for the engine. Them Carrillo rods and things don't come cheap do they.

Keith.

Anyone know exactly what the difference is between the B50/B25 and the A65 OIF stands - I've some A65 ones knocking around I could modify if it's not too big a piece of work

Off the top of my head the main difference is the tang - a short stub for the singles and a convoluted long one for the twins in order to clear the exhaust system on the road variants. The twin stand also comes in two different heights, brought about by the use of shorter rear shocks on the later models. Regardless, the stands do have the same frame mounting points as the singles.

Yes , I fitted a 72 OIF triumph stand on the B50 , fits nicely, just high enough to get wheels off the ground , and not too high to make it uneasy to use ...

If anyone's interested I have a few spare '72 type OIF twin type centre stands going spare - some were made with the strange curved side arm destined for a certain 350 twin, so I bought the stands to 'harvest' these.
There are now holes where the side arms once were (with a few grinding marks) - they are in varying states of finish and will all need a strip/paint. I'm open to offers as is or if someone could give me dimensions for the B50/B25 type small stub I'll weld them on to suit +/- something to block up the hole.
Distance from the bottom of the foot to the centre of the bolt hole looks to be 9 1/4" and it looked to fit when I offered it up on my B25SS.

PM me if interested
Cheers
Richard
