B50 exhaust

Post by Rookster » Sat Sep 16, 2017 3:14 am

Selling some parts off the B50 I just bought.

The high pipe is in rough shape. The mounting tab has been broken off but it is included. The end that attaches to the muffler has been crushed a little and is thin. It can work with a little bit of help but I am just going to get a new one. $10 + shipping.

Hi,
I'm interested in the front fender and the speedo meter.
Do you want to sell those, and what is your price.
I live in the Netherlands.
Thanks.

<135 to the forum René.

Would you update your profile and let everyone know roughly where in the Netherlands you are please?

What are you building? How about starting a section in Project Bikes and why not add your bike to the B50 Register?

Sorry I didn't see the reply Rene. The front fender is long gone. I am keeping the Speedo for the rebuilt bike. Mostly everything that I am not re-using has gone on to new owners. I can't thank this forum and Rickard enough for creating a great space for BSA owners to connect. i am happy to report that parts from the bike went to several different countries because of the connections of this forum.

That being said, I do have some items left that can be had cheaply.

I was the one who ended up with the piston, rings, etc. in this thread (thanks Rookster) and my machine shop is telling me it is a .060 over and my cylinder is standard so that's a lot of material to remove.

I would love to get a decent .020 or .030 over piston if anyone wants to trade me? The 060 is in great shape, but I would prefer not boring that much on my cylinder nor do I want to spend a lot for another one if I can help it.

Message me if you are interested.

Shawn
