Oil Leak-B50 SS

Post by TritonMike » Thu Aug 13, 2015 9:01 pm

I have a top end oil leak. Have not actually seen it yet but described as quite serious when put on sidestand. May be coming from the decompressor. Anyone got any thoughts? Is it a compulsory engine out job?

PS found a new member last night and just gave him the web link. B50SS too.

Hot bike on its side stand, the leak will look worse than it is. If you have done the bolt mod on the rocker box, its not engine out, and you'll have it fixed by the end of the weekend.

Place a block of wood under the side stand to keep the bike upright and stop the leak from dribbling down the fins :ban

I've moved this to Tech as it is hardly a Tech write-up.
