b50 side cover

Postby b50whisperer » Sat Nov 18, 2017 8:47 am

Hi Guys
I am looking for a left hand side cover, the one not hiding the battery, and an oddie clip would help. The original fell off and was hit by malicious road user.... see artachment...
Thanks

Art,

Try BritishSpares in Nelson just in case. I actually bought NOS one a few years years ago from them. They had the oddie fsteners as well but make sure you give them the oddie length as they had a few different ones in stock. Not sue if they have the oddie clip though.

Evil bay seems to have the covers come up but they always seem to be the side you are not looking for. I had one come off my bike, battery side (RH) for some reason but luckily it never got flattened by a vehicle.

BS used to have great prices for gear they had and they had quite a bit of good old stock or second hand items. Less so lately and they don't always answer emails. Maybe a change of staff or owner?

Hi Art,

If you can't find an original side cover you could consider a glass fibre copy from cmft:

http://www.cmftrailers.co.uk/classic-bike-parts.html

It looks like they have both left and right hand side at 35 £ each!

Brgds,
Claus

I have a sidecover but the p.o. drilled a hole in it for the ignition switch. You can have it for $15 plus shipping if you want it. I'm in the U.S. so it might not be worth it.

Give me a few days to get it boxed and get a quote. Can you pm me your address?

Thanks
