BSA Origin info

Post by Mike944 » Sun Nov 30, 2014 7:23 pm

Hello all,
I see some entries in the Owners Database list additional information regarding Dispatch, Delivery and Country. Is there a website or archive where I can find this info? I received this bike from the new owners of a condemned house and am just starting to get it back together. I need a title and any info I can find on the history of the bike would be beneficial.

Hi Mike

The UK BSA Owners Club hold microfiche copies of the original factory despatch books for many of BSAs models, and for around £15 they will send you a certificate with the relevant details of your bike. Their web site address is: www.bsaownersclub.co.uk/

Once in, go into the machine dating section where all is explained. Hope this helps.

The VMCC hold all the available records and can provide the same info, they do it via email and response is quicker, they also do not charge when asked for confirmation of a date etc and not the dating cert.
