Here we go, lets see if we can get a small gathering together.

Pendine Sands Records 19-20th Sept, run by Straightliners (web site here) Free for spectators (£250 to run a bike).

Pendine was the location of world speed records at the beginning of the 20th century when speeds were less than 150mph ish. Sir Malcolm Campbell raced there and John Parry-Thomas met his end driving "Babs" (interesting history). Set in West Wales, is also used by the MOD for testing various weapons and Dylan Thomas (drunken Welshman) waxed lyrical about some local wood.

It would be good to get a few like minded bods together at the weekend, there are campsites and hotels etc but bear in mind it is holiday season, early booking would be a good idea.

Any thoughts?

Hi Gerry, I'm up for this, any excuse to ride a motorbike around parts of Wales is all I need

Hotel or camping? My good lady is fine on the back of a bike but wants a proper bed to get her head down, being at the end of the season, and in a remote location, I think booking an hotel early would make sense......

Hi Minety, couldn't agree more, my good lady is the same and besides if the hotel's any good it should have a bar ;-)
Cheers John

For me the best option are caravan and lodges for rent in parkdean or pendine sands holiday park, I have been twice and if it is shared is cheap.
By the moment the project is stopped. On 1st march I presented the bike in ricardo tormo circuit in Valencia and I have a possible sponsor.
Now I have to take it to the dyno and test it on the track.
But currently in Spain everything is blocked, you cannot go out without just cause. let's hope this happens soon and I will return to the battle
Ah! And few pubs in pendine....
