BSA B25 Fleetstar
Do you want to have your BSA B25 FS on this page please
send me your photo and I publish it here.

Gerrys B25 FS 1972 (UK)
I bought this in Coventry, West Midlands off a guy from Taunton,
Somerset when I was a student in 1980, when I asked my local bike shop
(in Cirencester, Gloucestershire) if they knew anything about it,
the conversation went something like this:
Me: “I’ve bought this BSA Fleetstar, can you tell me anything about it?”
Dave: (A wonderfully sardonic store man who knew every part number and its equivalent for all Triumph and BSA bikes since Neolithic times and a strong nasal twang in his voice) “What’s the registration”
Me: “BAD 30K”
Dave: “We sold it to him [pointing] in 1972”
A small world indeed.
So this is my 1972 oif B25FS Fleetstar. Ex Cheltenham Police patrol bike,
originally sold by Peter Hammond Motorcycles, Cirencester to the
Gloucestershire Constabulary.
A friend painted it black and fitted a dual seat, it used to have a single seat
(cut down dual seat). It has four blind tapped holes in the tank to take a rack
for the radio, low level exhaust (Burton Bike Bits have this engine mount/exhaust
bracket if anyone wants one). Matching engine and frame N°s.
Reliable, economic, fast, good handling etc, with as many memories as miles.
Gerry
