Prompted by Dave's post - Triumph TR5T Exhaust Spark Arrestor I thought I would provide a bit of detail concerning the J&R Krizman spark arrestor supplied with the 1973 B50MX.............

I've always thought the B50MX 73 twin exhausts looked unfinished without the unobtainable spark arrestors, so I made up a pair of fake tails to complete the assembly:

Not exactly the correct outlet dimension but close enough

- Finished tails
I brazed some 1/8" (3mm) wire in a cross in the opening of the pipe to stop anything falling down the silencer and left the ends proud so that they would form a stop against the silencer. Finished them with black heat resistant spray paint.
