Thanks Ricard,
When I get a little bit ahead on the money I will go that route. I have gone that way on my A65 (Boyer ond Podtronics) but points on a single is less of a problem. No regrets on my A65.

Stan, the "Stator" is an ignition stator (pickup) and the "Alternator" is the alternator (stator and rotor or maybe dylithium crystal and flux capacitor). Sometimes the same English word is used in two or more parts of the engine (e.g steering head, bolt head, cylinder head, give me)...Oh you old colonial you.
