camshaft variations

Post by still learning »

After 10 years of retirement I was casting around looking for a project/pastime/hobby and ended up buying a tuned C15 with the idea of going sprinting. I then discovered that even though it is classed as vintage with the NSA it is too new for it to be vintage with Straightliners. NSA have no meetings in the North while Straightliners use Elvington which is just down the road from me. when I found out it would have to be used in the pushrod class decided to build a couple of faster B25 based engines, a 250 and a 350. The 250 is mainly B25 while the 350 is a mix of B25, B40 and B44. I was going to fit a B50MX cam in both but they do not seem to be available any more. I have one in the 250 but need another. 3 Questions. Is there a similar performance cam? How does the B44 Enduro cam match up? Does anyone out there have a high performance cam for sale?

Send an email to Anita at PES Ltd in Doncaster. Good chance they might have an MX cam.

How does the B44GP cam compare with the B50MX apart from the inner bush size.
